The year 2022 is the year of Polish botanists

The Senate of the Republic of Poland passed a resolution declaring the year 2022 as the Year of Botany. In this way, the upper house of Parliament honored Polish botanists and their achievements, as well as appreciated the civilization significance of this field of science.

59th Meeting of the Polish Botanical Society will be held in Warsaw during 26 June to 3 July.
Prof. dr hab. Bogdan Jackowiak, the chairman of the Committee of Organismal Biology of PAS, is a member of the Honorary Committee.
